Who We Are
Jagannathpur Upazila Probashi Shongo (JUPS) is a volunteer-led, community-based organisation rooted in the vibrant heritage of the British Bangladeshi community in Oldham. Established in 1988, JUPS was founded by members of the Jagannathpur diaspora with a shared vision: to create a welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together in unity, celebration, and support. We are proud of our long-standing commitment to promoting education, health, cultural identity, and social cohesion — values that continue to guide everything we do. At our core, we believe in the power of community to inspire change, uplift lives, and build a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
